213th Bhanu Jayanti at GSIS: Honouring the Legacy of Aadikavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya-2083
Gyan Sanskar International School proudly celebrated Bhanu Jayanti 2083 with great enthusiasm, reverence, and cultural pride, paying heartfelt tribute to Aadikavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya, the pioneer of Nepali literature. The celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for learners to appreciate the richness of the Nepali language, literature, poetry, and cultural heritage, while strengthening their connection with the nation’s literary legacy.
The event was graced by renowned literary personalities whose presence made the celebration truly memorable.
We were deeply honoured to welcome Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Devi Nepal, an eminent poet, literary critic, and scholar, and Special Guest, poet and educator Manoj Bhandari. Their inspiring speeches highlighted the enduring contributions of Aadikavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya and encouraged students to embrace reading, writing, creativity, and the preservation of the Nepali language.
Their valuable insights reminded everyone that literature is not only a medium of expression but also a powerful force for shaping values, identity, and society. Students listened with great interest as they learned about the importance of Nepali literature in today’s rapidly changing world.
The celebration featured a variety of cultural and literary performances by learners. Students expressed their admiration for Bhanu Bhakta Acharya through poems, speeches, recitations, dramas, songs, and creative presentations that reflected the beauty of the Nepali language and its timeless literary traditions. Their confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm made the programme both educational and inspiring.
At Gyan Sanskar International School, we believe that education extends beyond textbooks. Through meaningful celebrations like Bhanu Jayanti, learners develop respect for their language, culture, history, and national identity while also building confidence, communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
As a school committed to providing Jiwanopayogi Shikshya (जीवनोपयोगी शिक्षा), we continue to integrate academics with culture, values, and experiential learning. Such events encourage learners to become responsible global citizens who remain deeply connected to their roots while embracing international perspectives.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our respected Chief Guest, Special Guest, teachers, learners, parents, and the entire Gyan Sanskar family for making Bhanu Jayanti 2083 a meaningful and successful celebration.
